I’m a twenty-something Soviet Jew with a degree in Gender Studies. I was born in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, USSR in 1988, immigrated to Israel in 1990, and to Canada in 1994, where I currently reside. I speak Russian with some difficulty and have lost all my Hebrew (though I spent a year and half in university trying to get it back).

While I often use this tumblr to highlight historical Soviet/Russian-Jewish culture/events/people, I’m more interested in questions of contemporary Soviet/Russian-Jewish identity among immigrants. You’ll find that here, too.
